Call for Paper (CFP)

The prevalence of Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data benefit the development and research of Smart City and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). With the wide available sensing units and powerful data processing & analysis algorithms, tools, and systems, novel data-driven sensing and computing based Smart City and ITS applications and services become possible and feasible. This workshop welcomes papers and presentations in the field of IoT, Big Data, Smart City, and ITS, dealing with new developments in theory, analysis, simulation and modeling, experimentation, demonstration, case studies, field operational tests and deployments. This workshop particularly invites and encourages prospective authors to share their work, findings, perspectives and developments as related to implementation and deployment of advanced Smart City & ITS research.

Topics of interest

Authors are invited to submit original research contributions in all major areas, which include, but not limited to:

  • IT infrastructure design for Smart City & ITS
  • Machine learning techniques for Smart City & ITS
  • Big transport data storage, processing, and computing
  • Intelligent transport sensing
  • Autonomous Vehicles and Automated Driving
  • Mobility modeling and mining
  • Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET)
  • Communication in Smart City & ITS
  • Deep Learning
  • Crowdsensing and crowdsourcing
  • Privacy protection in intelligent transportation applications and systems

Submission Guideline

Each submission must not exceed 6 pages in the IEEE 8.5 “x11” two-column format with 10-point font, including tables, figures, and references. Submissions should be formatted using the template provided below and in PDF format. The review process is single-blind so the submissions should include author information.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee members. At least one author of the accepted paper should register the workshop and present the paper in the workshop in order for the accepted paper to be included into the IEEE digital library. All accepted papers will be included in IEEEXplore and indexed by EI.
